Welcome Back

I am delighted to welcome you all back to the start of a fresh new year and would like to give a warm welcome to our new children, parents and staff. I do hope you've all managed to enjoy some of the lovely weather and to spend time with
special people.
All the staff have been working hard to create new, exciting, innovative learning opportunities and environments. They are looking forward to sharing these with the children.
Best Wishes,
Joanne Crocker

News from the Head of school

Merry Christmas! Well done, everyone, for making it through the Autumn Term! It has been a very busy and sometimes tricky term, where we have worked through staff shortages and illness, but it has been a hugely successful one too.    It has been an absolute joy getting into the Christmas spirit over the past week with the children. I thoroughly enjoyed the Museum of Marvelous things, presented by author Kristina Stephenson and it was clear that all the children had an amazing learning experience where they were immersed in the wonders of storytelling.    Lights, Camels, Action had to be the highlight of my week though, to see the enthusiasm and hard work every child in the school shining through.    I have once again been immensely proud of the way in which our children are amazing ambassadors for the school, we have had a variety of visitors over the term and the children have all demonstrated their excellent oracy skills, speaking clearly and articulately about the skills they have been learning. All of this has led to three children representing the school at a public speaking competition, where they spoke extremely eloquently on the impact that children could make on the environment.    I want to thank the amazing team at Hatch Beauchamp for their resilience this term and their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible education for the children.   Sadly though we will be saying goodbye to Holly Floyd as she leaves us to pursue a teaching career. We wish her every success.   Your children have been a joy to teach and we wish you all a very safe, happy and healthy Christmas break and we look forward to working with you again in 2023!   Best Wishes, Joanne Crocker  Categories: 1 CategorySchool News
