A Message from the Head of School

Hatch Beauchamp C of E Primary School is a wonderful, small and caring school at the heart of the village of Hatch Beauchamp. Children from 2 to 11 work and play together in a thriving community, in which they learn to care and to appreciate everyone’s individuality. The three parts of the school: Hatchlings Nursery, Acorn Class and Oak Class work together to create an environment in which children, parents and staff flourish. As a small school, we know and understand our pupils’ needs and tailor our curriculum to provide supportive, yet challenging, opportunities for learning.

Hatchlings Nursery is a newly opened, rapidly growing venture for children from age 2. Our youngest children enjoy the opportunities provided by our mud kitchen, pond-dipping, gardening, riding trikes and scooters and playing with the older children. We offer extended care, across the school, through a variety of clubs.

We are proud of our church school heritage and are committed to the Church of England’s vision for education that all children should experience life to the full (John 10.10). This particularly resonates with us because Hatch means gateway and we see our school as being the gateway to children living a full and flourishing life. Hatch Beauchamp C of E Primary School is delighted to welcome families of any or no faith.
